Samsung Mz-n6e1t0bw Ssd M.2: 1tb 860 Evo, V-nand, Sata Iii 6gb/s, R/w(max) 550mb/s/520mb/s, 98k/90k Iops, 600tbw

Released this year, the Samsung 860 Evo 1TB SATA M.2 SSD (MZ-N6E1T0BW) capitalises on the performance of the 850 EVO to keep Samsung at the top of the game in the SSD market. The 860 EVO comes with Samsung's fourth generation V-NAND technology and an improved version of the Samsung ARM-based MJX controller. The new controller boasts a range of features including improved system compatibility, and refinements of the ECC algorithm and TRIM, which will please Linux users. Rapid read/write speeds The 860 Evo is a dependable SSD and promises long-term use with very minimal degradation of performance. It performs over 50% better than its predecessor and boasts an endurance rating six times greater than that of the 850 Evo. Clearly, Samsung have taken leaps and bounds in performance technology, and users will notice the difference. The 860 Evo delivers read/write speeds of up to 550/520 MB/s and random read/write performance of up to 98K/90K IOPS. The new Intelligent TurboWrite technology has also been revamped, with the new system determining how much cache space to allocate based on demands and workload. Now, the 860 Evo can dedicate up to six times the capacity of the previous model when faced with intensive workloads. Enhanced data security When it comes to security, the 860 Evo comes with an AES 256-bit hardware-based encryption engine, ensuring maximum data security at all times. The hardware-based SED (Self Encrypting Drive) does not suffer from the performance degradation of software-based security systems, so optimal security doesn't slow down other parts of the system. Samsung Magician software with the 860 Evo allows you to monitor and maintain the SSD by updating firmware, check the health of the drive, check on performance, and secure or encrypt your data. While the previous generation Samsung 850 Evo was the world's bestselling SSD, the 860 Evo is going above and beyond its predecessor in many regards, and users will not be disappointed with this upgrade.
